Dear Joe,

The weather in the Northeast is freezing - 50 below in some places. Do you realize we don't know if you are sleeping in the woods or not? Surely you can see that it is wrong not to drop your parents a line to tell them you are OK. In no culture or faith is it right to disappear from your parents lives - let alone in God's eyes. When we marry we follow our husband and leave our family, but we write and let them know how our life is going. Priests and sisters follow Jesus and devote their lives to him, but they write their families. Do you see the inherent lack of love in what you are doing Joe?

Joseph if you can believe that Jesus came to men of goodwill. If you can believe that your parents are people of goodwill, Then Jesus is with us. How then can you exclude us from your life? Joe, Jesus included everybody in his life. He excluded nobody. Your group excludes parents. Exclusivity is an earmark of a CULT Joseph.

If you can believe that God calls us to be prophets then you will listen to what I tell you. Chains are keeping you from doing the work that God created you with your given set of gifts and experiences to do. It is NOT Jim Roberts the Elder; nor is it with the Brethren however kind and docile they might be; however comforting and loving their company may be. It is not with them that God has called you to be.

LK 1 46-55 Then Mary said:

"My being proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit finds joy in God my savior,
For he has looked upon his servant in her lowliness;
all ages to come shall call me blessed.
God who is mighty has done great things for me;
Holy is his name;
His mercy is from generation to generation
on those who fear him.
He has shown might in with his arm;
he has confused the proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has deposed the mighty from their thrones
and raised the lowly to high places.
The hungry he has given every good thing
while the rich he has sent empty away.
He has upheld Israel his servant,
ever mindful of his mercy;
Even as he promised our fathers,
promised Abraham and his descendants forever."

May the glorious Virgin Mary, our dear and loving blessed Mother, be at your side every moment in the company of our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and all the angels and saints. By the power of the love of Jesus for us, by the power of the Body and Blood of Jesus may every obstacle that keeps you from your true calling be removed I pray in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen. Your Mother, Dorothy

Love,
Mom
