Tim,
Dad has moved to Squim Washington. As you may not know, he was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease awhile back and his symptoms have gotten severe.
I understand the resentment you may have for us, your family. I often feel the same way about Dad, and my own mom, for their failings, as well.
I don't know if you ever knew this about me, because you only visited us on a occasion growing up, but I did not know my mom until I got sober for a little while at the age of 25. Dad was the only parent that I ever knew. Aside from him, Leanne, Christy and you, I have never known a family.
As an Alcoholic himself, Dad, on occasion, left me and Leanne home alone and hungry for days at a time. I have had a lot of trouble forgiving him for this.
I would love to hear from you and possibly talk about the troubles that you may have towards us. I believe we both could benefit by this.
