Dear Bart,
If you are reading this, you must have found our family web page. We learned a few months ago that you were in Europe from some people who met you and then found us via this web page. We hope you are well and enjoying your time overseas. We are still in the Bozeman area and really enjoy it here. Heidi is doing well and has some great programs here that allow her to work almost every day plus a number of great recreational programs where she can ski, ride horses, ice skate and swim.
Cheri and the two boys will be here the end of June and spend a week or so with us. When she goes back to Pennsylvania she is going to pack up and will be moving to Birmingham, Michigan which is a really nice suburb north west of Detroit. Jordan graduated from high school in early June and moved to Atlanta to go to school but Tommy and Will are moving to Michigan with Cheri. We think it is a great move for her and she will be a bit closer to us.
I have now been retired from the Army for 21 years but am still working in Real Estate. I enjoy what I do and the people I work with every day. Bozeman is a great place to live and work and it is hard to believe we have now been here in the same house for so long after we made so many moves in the Army.
Mom continues to be the best mom and wife there is. Taking care of Heidi, me and our house keeps her pretty busy. She is great about staying in touch with many of the friends we have made over the years as well as all of the old time friends and relatives. We both seem to be doing well for our ages but realize we are not spring chickens any more.
We are in touch with many former members of your group and there have been some great stories and a few really sad one. As you may, or may not, know Anne Garvey, Jerry White and Sara Newton have all died over the past couple of years and Tom Carroll is battling cancer right now. Thomas Reinhart has been really good about staying in touch with us and he is going to school in Florida.
Son, we miss you very much and wish you could find it in your heart to get in touch with us so we would know how you are doing. There are a number of members who now stay in touch with their families but continue their life style.
